Region III, Central Luzon – The Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Region 3 has once again recognized the exceptional performance of higher education institutions across Central Luzon in the recent Criminologists Licensure Examinations. Among the standout performers, the Holy Cross College campuses emerged as a dominant force, with multiple campuses earning commendations in both the August 2025 and February 2026 board exams.

A Sweeping Recognition Across Campuses

In the August 2025 Criminologists Licensure Examination, PCAP Region 3 honored institutions under various categories based on the number of examinees and their passing rates. The Holy Cross College campuses made a strong showing:

· Under Category C (51 to 100 examinees), Holy Cross College – Sta. Ana, Pampanga achieved a perfect 100% passing rate with 57 examinees.

In the more recent February 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination, the Holy Cross College campuses continued its winning streak:

· Under Category G (1 to 9 examinees), Holy Cross College – Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija achieved a flawless 100% passing rate with 5 examinees.

· Under Category D (30 to 50 examinees), Concepcion Holy Cross College, Inc. posted a perfect 100% passing rate with 39 examinees.

These back-to-back recognitions underscore the commitment of the Holy Cross College campuses to academic excellence and the development of competent, ethical, and service-oriented criminologists.

Outstanding Individuals Behind the Numbers

Beyond institutional accolades, several Holy Cross College alumni were personally cited for their exemplary performance and leadership potential.

· Alaine DL. Caranzo of Holy Cross College – Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, earned special commendation from PCAP for scoring 85.65% in the February 2026 board exams.
· Hannah Rose Maun Macapinlac and Mark Lawrence Bulanadi Samson, both graduates of Holy Cross Colleges, Inc. in Sta. Ana, Pampanga, were named among the Ten Outstanding Criminology Students 2026, with Hannah ranking 7th and graduating as Magna Cum Laude, while Mark advocates for health awareness and aspires to become a criminology lecturer.
· Alexa Camille M. Mandap of Concepcion Holy Cross College, Inc., shared her journey from leading childhood games to earning an Academic Commendation Award, proving that intellect and empathy are just as vital as physical strength in criminology.
· Rick Lord A. Pineda, also from Holy Cross Colleges, Inc., balanced academic honors and leadership roles, inspired by his parents’ sacrifices, and now aspires to serve as a law enforcement officer with integrity and compassion.
· Shakira May V. Tayag of Concepcion Holy Cross College, Inc., graduated Cum Laude with a GWA of 1.51, ranked second in the Battery Examination, placed among the Top 10 in the Comprehensive Examination, passed the Civil Service Exam, and was recognized as an Outstanding PNP Intern.
· Jasmin Dela Cruz Meneses of Holy Cross Colleges, Inc., served in various student leadership roles from First-Year Representative to Secretary while maintaining good academic standing, and remains committed to leading with respect, discipline, and integrity.
