The commitment of Holy Cross College (HCC) to strengthening academic excellence and professional development continues to bear fruit as its Criminal Justice Education faculty successfully completed the 21st National Forensic Science Specialization Training (NFSST) held in Baguio City.

Previously announced as a weeklong professional development program, the training provided participants with specialized learning and hands-on experiences in various areas of forensic science, further enhancing their knowledge, skills, and professional competence.

Representing Holy Cross College were Ms. Jazzele M. Arimbuyutan, Mr. Leandro Ramos, and Ms. Honey Mica Pamilosa, who actively participated in the training and seminars. Their participation reflects HCC’s continued commitment to ensuring that its Criminology faculty remain updated with current forensic practices and equipped with specialized knowledge relevant to the profession.
Following the successful completion of the training and seminars, the HCC Criminology faculty members return to the institution more equipped, more knowledgeable, and more prepared to bring current forensic practices and specialized expertise into the classroom. Their enhanced competencies will help provide students with relevant, practical, and industry-informed instruction as they prepare for careers in criminalistics, law enforcement, and public safety.

Adding distinction to HCC’s participation, the institution was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation and Participationin recognition of its support and involvement in the national forensic science training.


A particularly remarkable achievement came from Ms. Jazzele M. Arimbuyutan, who earned Rank No. 1 in the Oral Defense under the Laboratory Custodian Specialization Course. Her outstanding performance is a testament to her dedication, competence, and commitment to continuous professional development.
Her achievement is also a source of pride for the HCC community, demonstrating the caliber of expertise and excellence among its Criminal Justice Education faculty.
More than certificates and distinctions, the completion of this training represents an investment that ultimately benefits HCC students.
