Holy Cross College (HCC) actively participated in the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 held on June 18, 2026, at exactly 9:00 AM across the HCC campus.

The activity gathered students, faculty members, staff, and administrators in a coordinated effort to promote earthquake preparedness and strengthen the institution’s emergency response capabilities. Upon the sounding of the alarm, members of the HCC community promptly performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure before proceeding to designated evacuation areas under the guidance of campus marshals and safety personnel.

The drill served as an important reminder of the value of readiness and vigilance in the face of natural disasters. Through active participation, the HCC community demonstrated its commitment to fostering a culture of safety, resilience, and responsibility among all stakeholders.

Holy Cross College continues to support national disaster risk reduction initiatives by ensuring that its students and personnel are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively during emergency situations.
