Holy Cross College successfully conducted its Faculty and Staff Institutional Seminar on School Violence Prevention and Basic Safety and Security Protocols on July 17, 2026, at 1:30 PM, bringing together faculty members and staff in a unified effort to reinforce a safe, secure, and inclusive learning environment for the entire academic community.

The seminar underscored the institution’s unwavering commitment to cultivating a culture of respect, vigilance, and shared responsibility. Through meaningful discussions and practical guidance, participants enhanced their understanding of violence prevention strategies, emergency preparedness, and the essential safety and security protocols that help safeguard students, employees, and visitors on campus.









Anchored on the theme “Aware. Prepared. Protected.”, the activity emphasized that maintaining a secure educational environment requires the active participation of every member of the institution. Faculty and staff were encouraged to strengthen their awareness, respond confidently during emergencies, report concerns promptly, and foster a supportive and respectful school culture.

The seminar also highlighted four key institutional commitments:
- Prevent Violence by promoting respect, inclusivity, and zero tolerance for all forms of violence.
- Promote Safety through the practice of basic safety measures and emergency response procedures.
- Strengthen Security by understanding and following established school safety and security protocols.
- Empower Every Teacher and Staff Member to become proactive partners in ensuring campus safety.
By equipping its personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to address safety concerns effectively, Holy Cross College continues to uphold its mission of providing a learning environment where every individual feels protected, respected, and empowered.
