Pride, discipline, and honor filled the halls of Holy Cross College as the institution successfully held the Joint Basic and Advanced Graduation, Closing of Cadet Officer Qualifying Course (COQC), and Ringhop Ceremony on May 8, 2026. The momentous event recognized the dedication and perseverance of the college’s ROTC cadets who completed various phases of military training and leadership development.

The ceremony gathered a total of 81 cadets, composed of 46 Basic Cadets9 Cadet Officer Qualifying Course (COQC) completers, and 26 Advanced Cadets, marking another significant milestone in the college’s commitment to producing disciplined and service-oriented student leaders.

Serving as the guest speaker was 1LT Karen Grace Ramos, who inspired the cadets through a meaningful message centered on courage, responsibility, patriotism, and leadership. She commended the cadets for their perseverance throughout the training and encouraged them to continue embodying the values of integrity, discipline, and selfless service both inside and outside the institution.

One of the highlights of the event was the Ringhop Ceremony, a symbolic tradition that signifies the transition of cadets into higher levels of responsibility and leadership. The ceremony reflected the hard work, sacrifices, and commitment of every cadet who underwent rigorous military instruction and training.

The successful conduct of the program showcased the unwavering dedication of the ROTC unit, training staff, and administration of Holy Cross College in molding future leaders who are prepared to serve the community and nation with excellence and honor.
