In preparation for the upcoming Academic Year 2026–2027, the Basic Education Department of Holy Cross Collegesuccessfully commenced its In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers, scheduled from May 18 to 29, 2026. The training gathers educators from the Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School departments for a meaningful and enriching professional development program.

The INSET serves as a venue for teachers to strengthen their knowledge, enhance their teaching strategies, and prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the new academic year. One of the highlights of the activity is the Echo Seminar featuring various topics and learnings acquired from seminars and trainings conducted by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC).

Through the echo seminar sessions, participating teachers share valuable insights, updated educational practices, innovative teaching approaches, and learner-centered strategies that can further improve classroom instruction and student engagement. The discussions also emphasize the importance of adaptability, collaboration, and continuous professional growth in today’s evolving educational landscape.

The activity fosters camaraderie and collaboration among educators across different grade levels, encouraging the exchange of ideas and best practices that contribute to a more dynamic and effective learning environment within the institution.

School administrators expressed their appreciation to the faculty members for their commitment and dedication to excellence in education. They also highlighted the importance of continuous learning among teachers as a key factor in shaping competent, compassionate, and future-ready learners.
As Holy Cross College prepares for another academic year, the successful conduct of the In-Service Training reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to quality education, professional development, and holistic formation for both educators and students.
