During the celebration of College Week, the Teacher Education Program (TEP) of Holy Cross College played an active role in bringing energy and engagement to the community through a series of interactive activities. Spearheaded by the program and its advisers, the initiative aimed to promote participation, wellness, and learning in both fun and meaningful ways.

The TEP hosted a lively Zumba session that served as one of the opening highlights of the festivities. Students and faculty came together to move to upbeat music, creating an atmosphere filled with energy, enthusiasm, and unity. The activity encouraged not only physical wellness but also camaraderie among participants, setting a vibrant tone for the days ahead.

In addition, the program introduced SYMBO, a creative spin on the classic game of bingo, incorporating elements from the Periodic Table. This unique activity challenged participants to think critically while enjoying a familiar game format, blending education with entertainment in an engaging and accessible way.

Through these activities, the Teacher Education Program demonstrated its commitment to fostering holistic development, balancing fun, learning, and community involvement. The initiative highlighted the students’ ability to create inclusive and educational experiences that resonate with a wide audience.

As the activities brought excitement and participation across the campus, they stood as a reflection of the creativity, dedication, and passion of future educators, ready to inspire, engage, and make learning meaningful.
