The Hospitality Management students of Holy Cross College took part in an enriching seminar on bartending and flairtending, organized in partnership with the Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts. The activity aimed to broaden students’ knowledge of beverage preparation while introducing them to the creativity and precision required in the field.

The seminar served as both a learning experience and a source of inspiration for aspiring hospitality professionals. With Ms. Jacqueline Timola, Sales and Marketing Manager, as the guest speaker, students were guided through meaningful discussions on career paths and opportunities within the industry. Her insights highlighted the importance of passion, adaptability, and continuous growth in pursuing a successful career in hospitality.

Complementing the discussion was an engaging demonstration led by Mr. Dan Iran John M. Wico, whose expertise in bartending and flairtending brought the session to life. Through live demonstrations, students witnessed firsthand the techniques, coordination, and showmanship involved in crafting beverages, showcasing the balance between skill and performance that defines the craft.

The seminar provided students with valuable exposure to real-world practices, allowing them to better understand the standards and expectations of the hospitality industry. More than just a demonstration, it became an opportunity to inspire confidence, ignite passion, and encourage students to further develop their skills.

As part of their 2nd day events, the Hospitality Management program also held its much-anticipated HM Beauty Pageant, showcasing not only elegance and confidence but also the wit, charm, and professionalism of the participants. Candidates graced the stage with poise, presenting themselves through various segments that highlighted their personality, communication skills, and stage presence. More than just a display of beauty, the pageant became a celebration of individuality and growth reflecting the values and excellence that define future professionals in the hospitality industry.

Your eagerness to learn and dedication to your craft reflect your commitment to becoming competent and dynamic hospitality professionals. May this experience motivate you to continue striving for excellence in your chosen field.

Padayon, future Hospitality Professionals!
