The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) department of Holy Cross College (HCC) once again stepped beyond the classroom and into the dynamic world of the food and beverage industry as they attended this year’s WOFEX Baguio 2026, held at the Baguio Convention Center.

Recognized as one of the most anticipated food and beverage expos in the country, WOFEX (World Food Expo) brought together top suppliers, culinary experts, and hospitality professionals in a vibrant showcase of innovation, trends, and opportunities. For HCC BSHM students, the event served as a valuable platform to witness firsthand the evolving landscape of the industry they aspire to join.
Throughout the event, students immersed themselves in a wide range of activities, from live cooking demonstrations and product samplings to interactive booth experiences hosted by leading brands. These engagements allowed them to explore new ingredients, modern kitchen technologies, and emerging food concepts that are shaping today’s culinary scene.

More importantly, the expo provided a meaningful avenue for students to connect with industry professionals. Through these interactions, they gained insights into real-world practices, career pathways, and the standards expected in the hospitality sector. The experience not only enhanced their technical knowledge but also inspired them to innovate and think creatively in their future endeavors.
As the doors of WOFEX Baguio 2026 opened at 10 AM, HCC BSHM students seized the opportunity to learn, explore, and grow, making the most of what is hailed as the region’s biggest and most focused food show.
Indeed, the participation of the HCC BSHM department in this prestigious event reflects the institution’s commitment to providing experiential learning opportunities that prepare students for excellence in the hospitality industry. With new ideas and inspiration in hand, these future hospitality professionals are one step closer to turning their passion into purpose.
