In line with its commitment to community service and humanitarian outreach, Holy Cross College Sta. Rosa, N.E., Inc. (HCC), through its Community Extension Program, successfully spearheaded a Blood Donation Drive in partnership with Nueva Ecija Doctors Hospital Inc. on July 24, 2026, at the HCC Gymnasium.

The activity brought together students, faculty members, and non-teaching personnel who voluntarily donated blood to help replenish the local blood supply and provide hope to patients in need of lifesaving transfusions. More than just a health initiative, the event embodied the true spirit of compassion, volunteerism, and social responsibility, values that HCC continuously promotes among its academic community.

Medical professionals from Nueva Ecija Doctors Hospital ensured that all donors underwent proper health screening and that the blood collection process was conducted safely and efficiently. Participants also received health assessments and guidance on the importance of regular blood donation as a means of supporting emergency medical care and saving lives.

The Blood Donation Drive forms part of HCC’s continuing Community Extension initiatives, aimed at fostering civic engagement while addressing real community needs. Through collaborative efforts with healthcare partners, the institution continues to create meaningful opportunities for its stakeholders to become active contributors to public welfare.
Holy Cross College extends its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteer donors, the dedicated medical team from Nueva Ecija Doctors Hospital Inc., faculty and staff volunteers, and everyone who supported the success of this noble undertaking. Every bag of blood collected represents a gift of life and serves as a reminder that even the simplest act of kindness can make an extraordinary difference.

“Donate Blood. Share Life. Be Someone’s Hope.” Together, the HCC community continues to prove that genuine service begins with a compassionate heart.
