Holy Cross College (HCC) reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to providing a safe, secure, and learner-centered environment through the successful dissemination of the institution’s updated School Security Protocols to the Basic Education Department teachers, parents, and guardians on June 30, 2026.

The orientation served as an important venue for informing members of the HCC community about the enhanced security measures and safety guidelines that will be implemented across the campus. The updated protocols were presented to ensure that everyone understands their respective roles and responsibilities in maintaining a secure learning environment for all learners.

Among the key topics discussed were campus entry and exit procedures, visitor management and identification policies, vehicle drop-off and pick-up regulations, student release procedures, emergency response protocols, and the importance of cooperation between the school and families in promoting campus safety. Parents and guardians were also encouraged to observe established school policies and to work hand in hand with the institution in safeguarding every child.

Teachers likewise received updates on security procedures and emergency response measures, reinforcing their vital role in ensuring student welfare and preparedness during both regular school operations and emergency situations.
Holy Cross College recognizes that school safety is a shared responsibility. By strengthening collaboration among administrators, faculty members, parents, guardians, and the entire school community, HCC continues to foster a culture of vigilance, preparedness, and mutual accountability.

As the institution prepares for another academic year, Holy Cross College remains steadfast in its mission to provide not only quality education but also a safe and nurturing environment where every learner can grow with confidence and peace of mind.

Together, we build a safer HCC, because every learner deserves to study in a secure and protected environment.
