BS. Criminology students from Holy Cross College embarked on a meaningful educational tour at the headquarters of the Philippine National Police Special Action Force (SAF), held at the SAF Gymnasium in Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna on March 18, 2026.

The visit served as an eye-opening experience for students, offering them a closer look into the discipline, structure, and operations of one of the country’s most elite tactical units. Welcomed warmly by SAF personnel, the delegation was introduced to key officers and unit commanders who play vital roles in maintaining peace and security nationwide.

During the program, SAF officials presented an overview of their mission, organizational structure, and specialized functions. Students gained insights into leadership, crisis response, and the importance of integrity and service, values that resonate deeply with their academic and personal growth.

The tour also highlighted the significance of real-world exposure, allowing students to connect classroom theories with actual field practices. For many, the experience sparked inspiration, particularly among those aspiring to pursue careers in law enforcement, public service, and national security.

Beyond learning, the visit fostered appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices of SAF personnel. It also strengthened the partnership between academic institutions and government agencies in shaping socially responsible and well-informed future professionals.

Indeed, the educational tour was not just a visit but a journey into courage, commitment, and service.
