Students from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program of Holy Cross College successfully completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the prestigious Balesin Island Club, marking another milestone in their academic and professional journey.

The culmination activity highlighted the formal awarding of Certificates of Completion to the student interns, held in the presence of the industry partner representative and the institution’s practicum coordinator and program chair of the BSHM program, Mrs. Stephanie Ciasico. The event recognized the students’ dedication and the valuable experience they gained during their training in one of the country’s premier hospitality destinations.

During their internship, the HCC BSHM students were immersed in real-world hospitality operations, where they were able to apply the knowledge and skills they learned in the classroom. Their experience allowed them to further develop competencies in guest relations, service excellence, teamwork, and professional work ethics, essential qualities for future hospitality professionals.

The successful completion of their internship reflects the commitment of Holy Cross College to providing its students with quality industry exposure through strong partnerships with reputable establishments such as Balesin Island Club. This collaboration continues to create opportunities that prepare students to meet the evolving demands of the hospitality industry.
