Holy Cross College (HCC) recently conducted a productive and informative meeting with its Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) grantees, aimed at strengthening students’ understanding of the TES program and addressing important concerns related to their financial assistance.

The gathering served as an opportunity for TES beneficiaries to receive updates and clarifications regarding the Tertiary Education Subsidy, a government program under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) that supports qualified students in pursuing their college education.
During the session, key discussions centered on the proper utilization of TES benefits, compliance with program requirements, and the responsibilities of grantees in maintaining their eligibility. The meeting aimed to ensure that students remain informed and guided in maximizing the opportunities provided through the subsidy.

Adding further value to the event, personnel from Land Bank of the Philippines were also present to assist students with concerns related to their TES LandBank accounts and ATM savings account. The representatives addressed various inquiries including account activation, card issuance, and other banking-related matters connected to the release of TES funds.
The LandBank representatives explained the process of opening an ATM savings account, the necessary requirements, and the steps students need to follow to ensure that their TES benefits will be properly deposited into their accounts. Grantees were also given the opportunity to raise concerns regarding their ATM cards and other banking-related matters.
Their presence allowed grantees to directly clarify issues and receive assistance, ensuring a smoother process in accessing their financial support.
Through initiatives like this, Holy Cross College continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting student welfare by ensuring that TES beneficiaries are well-informed, guided, and empowered to make the most of the opportunities granted to them.

The successful meeting not only strengthened coordination among students, the institution, and partner agencies, but also reaffirmed HCC’s dedication to fostering an environment where educational support programs are effectively delivered for the benefit of its learners.
